Amazing weekend for 12U Zoots as they ran the the table at the Presidents Day Super NIT at Twin Creeks going 6-0 and outscoring teams 57-8. The tounament was filled with 16 Majors team's spanning from Southern California, Bakersfield, Northern California, and the Central Valley.

Everyone on the team contributed including Tommy Troy who is fighting a growth plate injury in his throwing arm but came in and did a great job pinch running and was a strong presence in the dugout. Coleman Brigman made great plays in the outfield; Eddie Park was one of the team leaders in hits and pitched a phenomonal complete game gem in dominating fashion in the semifinals against a very strong Sacramento team; Jonathon Cymrot hit for the cycle in two straight games and was a machine on the hill during the championship game; Jack McGrew played stellar defense all weekend;Griffin Allen was a beast behind the plate, on the hill, and played fantastic all weekend; Hunter Barnhart closed the championship game and played tremendous defense all weekend; Max Walsworth played a great defensive first base all weekend and pitched very well; Andrew Del Biaggio was a team leader in RBI's and pitched very well; Jeter Ybarra played solid defense, had clutch hits all weekend, and pitched very well; and Sam Weseloh was solid on defense and pitched very well.

The talent on this team is deep and the coaching staff is amazing. Manager Joe Bettencourt is supported by coaches Jamie Ybarra, Young Park, and John McGrew. It is with the leadership of Jon Zuber and his organization that has given the 12U team the opportunity to represent such a fantastic organization.
